    This drill bit designed for exterior and interior fitting work in tiles offers an outstanding durability in hard tiles.

     Why does this drill bit help users to drill better and longer in hard tiles?

    • Its Carbide tip provides a great robustness as well as long life. Expert HEX-9 HardCeramic lasts up to 10 times longer than a Bosch CYL-9 SoftCeramic drill bit 
    • It is suitable for drilling in tiles, especially porcelain tiles with a hardness up to PEI 5, and is also suitable for drilling in roof tiles, natural stone tiles and non-tempered glass 
    • Its asymmetric design forms teeth rather than plain blades. Therefore, the force is concentrated on the teeth for best efficiency in terms of speed, lifetime and required pressure during drilling 
    • Its active carbide centering tip that is slightly off center, has the effect of creating a micro core drilling effect, without any specific centering point, which avoids to just generate heat and not cut any material

    These 2 drill bits designed for construction and interior fitting work in different kinds of materials, allow the user to drill up to 5 times more precisely in multiple materials than a Bosch CYL-3.

     Why do these drill bits help users to drill more precise and clean holes?

    • Due to their Centering Geometry (Bosch know-how fullfilling stringent requirements to offer a perfect hole or cut) that provides up to 5 times more precision and quality of finish in multiple materials than a Bosch CYL-3 
    • Their reduced chisel edge (the area to first touch the surface of the material to be drilled) that minimizes friction, makes it easy to start drilling in the exact position where the hole needs to be, ensuring very accurate drilling 
    • Their large open stock (area between the steel body and the carbide cutting edges) that contributes to effective chip and dust removal reduces wear due to less dust remaining in the hole, thus ensuring stable speed throughout the lifetime

    This drill bit for light duty applications (setting walls plugs and anchors) makes more holes in concrete and reinforced concrete, and lasts up to 3 times longer than a Bosch SDS plus-3 drill bit.
