FAQ

The typical measuring accuracy is ± 1.5 mm. It’s realized under typical, meaning favorable conditions (reflective target, no adverse light conditions, normal temperature & humidity). Under unfavorable conditions the measuring accuracy is ± 3.0 mm (reflective target, strong backlighting, normal temperature & humidity). Additionally, a deviation per meter needs to be added: (± 0.05mm/m in favorable conditions; ± 0.15mm/m in unfavorable conditions).

The default reference level is the rear edge of the tool (e.g. when placing it against walls) It can be also changed to the front edge (e. g. when measuring from the table edge), or to the center of the tripod thread for measurements on a tripod via the tool settings menu . The reference level setting is stored after the tool is switched off and on again.

The reference level is the marking that is shown in the display. The reference level is NOT the rear or front edge of the tool.

power-standard

No, only GLM 80 can be used with the R60.

Yes. Basically, the Big Numbers function is a continuous measurement mode. Instead of showing multiple measurements at once like in the Min/Max function (you still have that function as well), simply the live measurement is shown in full format to facilitate readability.

Yes, the Li-Ion battery pack fully works with both tools GLM 50-22 and GLM 50-25 G. In general, the Li-Ion battery pack is fully compatible to the whole GLM 50-2x product family.

No. The USB port is only intended for charging. It can be charged with a computer, but there is no data transfer possible.
